• OEM Customers: For Dynamic images, format the hard drive and re-install using the Windows installation media. Refer to the following article if capturing a Dell factory installed image.

IMPORTANT: Dynamic imaging supports the current release of Windows 10 and two previous releases for supported hardware configurations. For previous W10 builds LTSC/B, drivers will be locked down to what was validated as working for the hardware being ordered. Additional factory validation time for new Windows 10 releases is required after the initial Microsoft release date. Please contact your Dell Configuration Services Project Manager to check on additional lead times that may be needed for your order.
